I am finally here in Minneapolis Minnesota at MCAD, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. And how different it is here... some people are really intense, some a really nice, and some are really just whack. I can't seem to find the southern comfort or laid back feeling here... it seems like it's go go go. Hm... perhaps I'll get used to it.

Anyhow, I have my new address and will be living her until next May. I can't hold any promises to update or check on DA as freqently as I used to so... I guess we'll just see what happens...

Just got back from the Murray State Summer Art Workshop.
It was fun this year (although it was my last) and I'll be positing art I made during this past week as well as some addtional pieces.

Plus, I've decided I may do a set of images made specifically for limited edition prints only. I can't make prints of the pieces I have sold due to certain details and difficulties. Anyways, I'll be working on that.

I'm still on that break really, and in florida at that. But I am writing to say that I think I may be making prints of some of the pieces I had in my show. Nothing is certain yet, I still need to check up with my buyers whether or not it's okay if I do. I also need to figure out the cost of it as well...

Okay, so haitus = somewhat over.

NEWS:
I am having an art show in about 2 months/a month (May 19) and a half here. The plan is to have about 15-20 brand new pieces for the show (right now I've reached about 3 and a half) so I'll be quite busy with that. I'll fill everyone in on the details once the date approaches closer. As for now I really shouldn't even be on the computer, I have so much work to do...

I entered the Bluegrass Regional High School Art Show recently and I won 2 awards/prizes.
- Best in show for this.
- 1st In the mixed media genre with this.
The reception/award acceptence is this Sunday at EKU. Eh...

This is going to be used on an album/CD cover by a hip hop band named The Zoo. Chuck Moreland will be producing it under his record label Underlying Themes. The CD release party will be at the Underlying Themes Loft April 1st.

I think it's official: I will be attending MCAD next year with the glorius aid of a scholar ship. Indeed indeed. I just need to focus on keeping my grades in place

And oh mah gawd, I'm nearly the age of 18...

Most of the art schools just require an artist's statement.. except for MCAD... they seem to want an essay describing what the world would be in 2051. HAWT DANG... I need to retake the SATS as well, my scores seem to kind of blow...

School's in session again, which means more work for me. You really should get some lower exspectations.
